Come join OK Company Paintball for our first scenario game of the Summer!
Operation: Iceberg, is set to kick off Sunday, July 19th. As always it's a BYOP and BYOA event, so be sure to visit your local shop and stock up! Everyone who intends to come must join the "OKC Events" group and let us know in the corresponding discussion. Please visit the discussion for further important details.
Story line:
1945, United States landing craft barrel across the waters surrounding the Japanese island of Okinawa. Ahead, white sands, lush jungles, and a well trained Army of the Rising Sun. Okinawa is the gate to Japan. The US needs a victory to secure an intimidating foot hold in the pacific, while it's Axis counterparts will give tooth and nail defending the sacred grounds they call home, ultimately protecting the king pin, Tokyo.
On Sunday, July 19th, the LCVP ramps will lower and American boots will hit the ground. On July 19th, The Army of the Rising Sun will sharpen their teeth and begin a war of attrition. For one Sunday, OKC Mtn will be transformed to the metal hurricane that is Okinawa. The ferocity that made this battle so famous will transcend to our home field, leaving the politics behind, but bringing the intensity and an edge of fun to a piece of history. This OKC event will take place across the entire property of the Mtn. The event will be one ongoing game including multiple objectives for each side. Maps and objectives will be revealed when roles are filled.

It will be a long hard battle to take the hill, but I think we can do it if we get the right people to join us. I better get to recruiting!

Did I mention I'll be the General of the US ARMY troops for this scenario?
I will be doing battle against long time friend recently turned foe, FROG, also of OK Company Paintball.
We each have our squad commanders lined up, and the trash talk has begun.
